His profound respect for the craft and an innate ability to connect with families have solidified Storyland's reputation in the community. When he's not at the helm, John is an avid golfer and an active member of the Rotary Club. His vision continues to intertwine the Doe family's deep-rooted values with the evolving needs of today's families.
Thomas Gray
General Manager
With over 15 years of dedication to honoring life's stories, Thomas Gray leads Storyland Funeral Home & Cemetery with a blend of tradition and innovation. Hailing from Atlanta, Thomas believes in crafting personalized experiences for every family, ensuring they find comfort during their times of need. Beyond his role, he's an avid history enthusiast and enjoys exploring the city's hidden gems with his two golden retrievers. Under his stewardship, Storyland has become a beacon of compassion and excellence in the community.

Away from work, Jane loves the water and is often found sailing Lake St. Clair.
